FATTENED FACULTY

CHARACTER INDEX

This is a resource for the Fattened Faculty series, not an actual part of the story. If you'd like to read the actual story, please start here:
        Fattened Faculty (Chapter 1)

Since Fattened Faculty is such a complex series, and readers are of course at the mercy of my lamentably slow output of new chapters, I felt it would be helpful to a lot of those reading new chapters if I were to compile an index of characters with their names, appearances, positions and other bits of descriptive information. By doing that, readers hopefully won't have to go back and dig through the old chapters if they forget details about a minor character, and I won't have to bloat the story with unnecessary exposition. I also predict that, in the long run, this will serve as a good source for me to reference as I continue writing new installments. I will update this list as the story progresses and new characters or details about them are revealed.

I'm also excited to announce that the wonderful  is setting out to do illustrations of nearly every one of these characters. Please, keep an eye on his page for the pictures! I'll be linking them here as they come out as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The general weights described here are the weights of the characters as soon as they are first introduced in the story. Of course, since this is a weight gain story and I have little mercy as an author, all of their weights will almost certainly have changed by the later chapters. Therefore, for the sake of simplicity, this list is merely going to show how big they were when the series began.

Here are the weight classes I'm using in these bios. Obviously, height, age and muscle mass make a difference in everyone's exact weights, but these rough boundaries should usually give you a good idea of how much I'm talking about for an average height, not-especially-athletic, female adult and an average height, not-especially-athletic male adult. More categories may be added if characters begin to push the boundaries of the existing ones. Please also note that certain students in these categories could potentially weigh quite a bit less than the lower limit of the category if they're young enough.

        Very skinny:

Female:  90-109 lbs.
            Male:  100-129 lbs.

        Normal weight:
            Female: 110-169 lbs.
            Male:  130-189 lbs.

        Overweight:

Female:  170-239 lbs.
            Male:  190-259 lbs.

        Obese:

Female:  240-339 lbs.
            Male:  260-359 lbs.

        Morbidly obese:

Female:  340-499 lbs.
            Male:  360-549 lbs.

        Very morbidly obese:

Female: 500+
            Male:  550+

   BEAUMONT FACULTY MEMBERS

    AMANDA HARRIS

  • Introduced in Chapter 1.
  • Math teacher. Classes vary between all four grades.
  • Female. Brown hair. Age 26.
  • Obese. Carries most weight in her belly.
  • Best friends with Leah Benson. Mentor to Vicki White. Dating Jordan Lebowitz, as of the end of Chapter 1.
Amanda was unfalteringly skinny from childhood all the way up to early adulthood. About a year or so after she started teaching at Beaumont, however, that changed fairly quickly. Principal Grasso's weird approach to progressive school policy quickly put some meat on most of the skinnier teacher's bones, and for Amanda, that meat ended up disproportionately around the midsection. By the time we meet her in Chapter 1, Amanda is impressively fat, and has been mistaken for a pregnant woman on more than one occasion. She is best friends with fellow math teacher Leah Benson, and is dating Jordan Lebowitz as of the end of the first chapter.

    ANNA RUSSO

  • Introduced in Chapter 2.
  • Art teacher.
  • Female. Light-brown hair. Fair skin. Light-brown eyes. Age 28.
  • Morbidly obese. Fat all over, notably soft-looking.
  • Close with Amanda Harris and especially Leah Benson. Mentor to Sabrina Vaughn.
Anna Russo is another teacher who is particularly young and particularly obese. She is a talented painter, head of Beaumont High's art department and a very determined advocate for the expansion of visual art classes within the school. Simultaneously obsessed by fine art and pop culture, Anna is proud to bond particularly well with her geekiest students. She spends her free time practicing art while she binge-watches TV and movies.

    AUDREY COLLETTI

  • Introduced in Chapter 12. (First mentioned in chapter 10.)
  • Baking teacher.
  • Female. Italian. Black hair. Tan. Green eyes. Age 35.
  • Obese. Very round torso, with skinny arms, face and legs. Body is very wide, but thin from front to back.
  • One of the two baking teachers, along with Roger Dunham.
Audrey Colletti is the kind of teacher who makes the people in her classes feel more like they're her friends than her students. As a result of her good sense of humor, casual demeanor and extreme willingness to allow students to make their baked goods as revoltingly fattening as they desire, she is very popular with Beaumont's teens. Her thin face, thin limbs and energetic movements are form stark juxtaposition against the roundness of her body, which seems only ever to grow outwards to her left and right without ever getting wider in any other direction. She's in her mid-thirties, but frequently gets mistaken for a new teacher due to her youthful appearance and demeanor. She credits the lack of agedness to solely to her "good genes."

    GINA CLARK

  • Introduced in Chapter 4.
  • Gym teacher and head of the school's P.E. and Health programs.
  • Female. Brunette. Age 36.
  • Morbidly obese. Apple-shaped.
Gina's physique is nearly as out-of-place for a gym teacher as a gym teacher is at Beaumont High in general. For two years, not a single student has participated in one of her classes beyond the first week of school. To Gina, that's somewhat of a relief; she's much happier simply sitting on the bottom step of the bleachers, playing iPhone games and eating sugary snacks. She was sporty when she was young, but what was once merely a thick tomboy body has since evolved into a mass of physically inactive blubber. Gina is still officially paid to coach the school's softball team, even though it has exactly zero members this year.

    HEATHER WARREN

  • Introduced in Chapter 4.
  • Student teacher to Leah Benson. Studying to become a math teacher.
  • Female. Blonde hair, big smile. Goes tanning sometimes, but gets paler when she's lazy. Age 22.
  • Overweight. Thick all over, but not curvy.
  • Close friends with Vicki White and Sabrina Vaughn.
Heather is famous for being bubbly and joyful nearly all of the time, and if she catches you unhappy, she will hug you. On top of her admiration for mathematics, she's always been a major theater-buff. She assisted with her university's plays every year that she was enrolled and even acted in two of them. She was friends with both Vicki and Sabrina in college as well, even though her student-teacher friends never actually met during their time at that school. Upon arriving at Beaumont, she seems a little more excited about its food than concerned about the size of its inhabitants.

    IVAN GRASSO

  • Introduced in Chapter 2 (mentioned in chapter 1).
  • School Principal.
  • Male. Caucasian. Brown hair, graying. Age 46.
  • Normal weight. Totally thin.
  • Close only with a select few faculty members, but famously friendly to all. Seldom appears in school.
Beaumont's unprecedented obesity epidemic began when Ivan Grasso first took his current seat as the school's principal. He is apparently also the only person to have survived within its walls without putting on an ounce of fat since then. He hardly ever appears in school, but when he does, he's typically friendly and about as approachable as someone of his level of secrecy can be. Many have criticized his ultra-progressive, experimental policies—which of course, have lead to demonstrable levels of childhood and faculty obesity—but consistent academic results and the praise of students, staff and even most parents have kept Grasso secure in his position as principal. He is as well-liked as he is notoriously mysterious.

    JORDAN LEBOWITZ

  • Introduced in Chapter 1.
  • History teacher. Teaches Sophomore and Junior classes.
  • Male. Dirty blonde hair. Very short beard, practically stubble a lot of the time. Age 27.
  • Overweight, as of chapter 1. Carries most fat in his gut.
  • Romantically involved with Amanda Harris as of Chapter 1. Close friends with Leah Benson.
Despite his potbelly, Jordan is one of the thinnest people on the Beaumont staff. This is partly because he's one of its newer additions. He's a big history buff, and is constantly trying to learn about new things. On the side, he teaches Beaumont's political science class—a subject which he enjoys discussing in the abstract, but is exhausted by when heated arguments about current events arise. Jordan can be a smooth talker in the right moments, but he's a bit nerdier and much more nervous than he lets on a lot of the time. After being close friends with Amanda Harris for quite some time, he finally worked up the courage to ask her out at the end of Chapter 1. She said yes. Oddly, her fatness and gluttony hardly seem to phase him as they move forward into their relationship.

    JENNY FROST

  • Introduced in Chapter 2.
  • School secretary.
  • Female. Blonde. Fair skin. Age 32.
  • Very morbidly obese. Fairly even fat distribution.
  • Close with most of the teachers, and especially close with Principal Grasso.
Jenny is, as of the beginning of the story, Beaumont's fattest staff member. Although her title is technically still school secretary, people tend to view her as more of an administrative figure since she runs several programs and is given so much power by the Principal. She spends more time at Beaumont than anyone else, but rarely leaves the main office.

    LEAH BENSON

  • Introduced in Chapter 1.
  • Math teacher. Teaches mostly Junior and Senior classes; no freshmen.
  • Female. Red hair. Fair skin, freckles. Age 27.
  • Morbidly obese. Fat is distributed so as to give her a very round, fluffy and pillowy appearance.
  • Best friends with Amanda Harris. Close friend of Anna Russo. Mentor to Heather Warren.
Alongside her best friend Amanda, Leah Benson is one of Beaumont's two fairly young math teachers, as well as one of the heaviest educators on the staff. Unlike Amanda, Leah was already quite heavy when Principal Grasso took administrative control of the school, and has only ballooned much further in the time since. Her relaxed demeanor has made her a presence greatly enjoyed by students and staff alike. When she's not eating or teaching, you can probably catch her with her face buried in a book.

    MARTHA GOLDING

  • Introduced in Chapter 1.
  • English teacher.
  • Female. Of Indian descent. Brown hair. Caramel-colored skin. Age 33.
  • Obese. Pear shaped, with extremely thick thighs.
  • Frequently eats lunch with Amanda, Leah and Susan.
Martha is a bubbly English teacher who simultaneously wields a sharp sense of humor and a well-known tendency for compassion. Perhaps even more well-known, though, is her appearance. Whether they're eyeing it with judgment or secret desire, Martha's gifted lower-half has long been the subject of her students' and contemporaries' stares. Her butt was merely stylishly plump when she was young, but the hormones of adulthood and subsequently the administration of Principal Grasso have since expanded her derriere to the point of considerable obesity. She happens to foster a healthy obsession with classical English poetry, and spends a great deal more time on it in class than the curriculum actually requires.

    MARY GIANNI

  • Introduced in Chapter 5.
  • School nurse.
  • Female. Brown hair, naturally tan complexion. Age 37.
  • Very morbidly obese. Fat packs on tightly, so she stays curvy despite her huge weight.
  • Frequently surrounded by hall monitors, especially Sam Greene. Currently in need of a new assistant nurse.
Mary is fatter than any of the female teachers on Beaumont's staff, but she still weighs significantly less than Jenny, the main office secretary. Despite how highly she ranks in terms of obesity, however, her nearly 550 lb body and beautiful face carry her weight so compactly that one might not even realize the full gravity of her obesity at first glance. Since it is her job to weigh all of the Beaumont staff and students each year, Mary is always very busy at the beginning of each fall semester. As of the first time we meet her in chapter 5, Mary is currently in need of a new assistant nurse.

    REBECCA FLINT

  • Introduced in Chapter 4.
  • Gym teacher.
  • Female. Brown hair. Age 30.
  • Overweight. Thick all over, with feminine curves.
Rebecca Flint is perhaps the only person to have stayed at Beaumont ever since Grasso became Principal without having fully given into its temptations. The others have either ballooned into their 300's and beyond or left the school entirely. She eats more healthily than anyone else in the building and exercises the most by far. However, just a few cheat days at Beaumont are more than enough to make a person chubby. At a measly 200 lbs, she's positively scrawny for one of the school's teachers, especially one who's been around so long. She stays a part of Beaumont's staff with the hope of helping students and coworkers stay healthy if they're interested, but few if any ever take her up on the offer. Until then, she remains the only one actually doing anything on the floor of the gym on any given day.

    ROGER DUNHAM

  • Introduced in Chapter 8.
  • Advanced Baking teacher. Head of Beaumont's culinary program.
  • Male. African-American. Age 33.
  • Morbidly obese. Belly-heavy.
Roger Dunham is the big, jovial man who heads Beaumont High's Culinary Arts Department. He has the sort of aura about him that you might typically expect of a dad hosting a barbecue, which is why it can be quite surprising when he reveals how sophisticated and refined his palette truly is. He's a man of high standards, but that doesn't mean he's a snob; on the contrary, his respect and care towards fine dining coexist with an unabashed love of processed junk snacks. When it comes to food, Roger has no guilty pleasures, which may explain his impressively round physique.

    SABRINA VAUGHN

  • Introduced in Chapter 3.
  • Student-teacher to Anna Russo. Studying to become an art teacher.
  • Female. Naturally black hair, streaked with blue green. Pale skin, big eyes, pierced nose. Age 22.
    • Dies her hair again in Chapter 12 to a brown/copper ombré.
  • Very skinny.
  • Close friends with Heather Warren.
Sabrina Vaughn has always given off the impression that she is shy, or perhaps even socially anxious. This is not the case; she may be awkwardly quiet, but her conversations are typically quite rich, provided you've got the confidence to start one with her. She is very personable and talkative with students, despite being so quiet around her peers. Whenever it's appropriate to have out a pencil and paper, it's safe to say Sabrina will be drawing. She will stop, however, if she catches you looking. In college, she was good friends with Heather Warren, another student teacher. She remembers Vicki from college as well, but the two never officially "met" until they started student-teaching at Beaumont.

    SUSAN BOLES

  • Introduced in Chapter 1.
  • History teacher.
  • Dark, curly hair. African-American. Age 30.
  • Obese. Most prominent features are her very large breasts and upper-arms.
  • Eats lunch with Leah, Martha and Amanda regularly.
Susan is a history buff, but feels a bit out of place when the other teachers in her department geek out about war trivia, battle tactics, historical weapons and such. Rather, instead of those things, Susan has always been more interested in long-term themes and historical trends, as well as how historical events and ideas tend to reflect on the human condition. If she'd had to pick something else, it would undoubtedly have been English—in general, she always loved the humanities. Susan was thin and downright enviously busty as a teenager, but has been plumping up steadily ever since she turned seventeen, at which point the seemingly unsinkable monopoly on her body fat fell. Plumpness soon trickled down across the rest of her body—especially her bingo wings. She was very overweight by the time Grasso entered her life, and since then, she's practically leapt into obesity.

    TRISHA ROMAN

  • Introduced in Chapter 3.
  • Guidance counselor. Head of the student advisory department.
  • Female. Short, brown hair. Brown eyes. Hispanic. Age 47.
  • Morbidly obese. Pear-shaped.
  • Mother of Jake Roman.
Trisha Roman is one of Beaumont's guidance counselors. She's a sweet woman who's unwaveringly approachable, and is very good at proposing solutions to problems. She's outrageously busy and seldom leaves her office, but when she does, there isn't a single person who isn't happy to see her. Those trips out into the rest of the school almost invariably include stops at the cafeteria, where she knows each and every chef by name. Principal Grasso selected her as head of the school's guidance department for her dedication to providing academic advisement to all students, as well as an accessible place to discuss their home lives with responsible adults if need be. This has been very effective. Trisha makes sure that nobody leaves her office or her home without an empty stomach. Her son, Jake, a Beaumont Senior, is living, jiggling proof of how seriously she takes this attitude.

    VICKI WHITE

  • Introduced in Chapter 3.
  • Student teacher to Amanda Harris. Studying to become a math teacher.
  • Female. Dark brown hair, brown eyes. Age 22.
  • Normal weight. Naturally pear-shaped. Was legitimately obese in college, but has since lost all of that weight.
  • Close friends with Heather Warren.
A naturally chubby girl who spiraled out of control in college, Vicki is now actively working towards two goals which almost seem to compete at times: reducing her booty to a relatively normal size and learning to love herself and her appearance unconditionally. When we meet her in Chapter 3, she is closer to both of those goals than she has ever been. The pear shape that once dominated her obesity has been tamed into a subtle flare of the hips, and her tummy is only soft to the touch, not to the eye. Hopefully, the Beaumont way of life won't be able to undo her hard-earned progress. Vicki is intelligent and good-hearted; she has a firm dedication to making sure that every person she comes across feels like she respects and accepts them, and will no doubt try to pass this on to her students when she has a classroom of her own one day.
